Beginning in October we will be having two regularly scheduled services every month.  A Typica service with communion will be held on the first and third Sunday of each month.  In order to facilitate this regular schedule Fr. Ted Pisarchuk, Fr. Arkady, Fr. Sergius and Dn. James from St. Justin Martyr Church in Jacksonville, FL will all be rotating Sundays. We thank all these clergymen as well as Subdeacon James Marth for their dedication in working to establish the Orthodox faith in Valdosta, GA.

The instruction for those taking communion is have a lite "brunch" and fast from about 11:00 am.

Vespers is the evening worship service of the Orthodox Church.

The service of Vespers takes us through creation, sin, and salvation in Christ. It leads us to the meditation of God's word and the glorification of His love for us. It instructs us and allows us to praise God for the particular events or persons whose memory is celebrated and made present to us in the Church. It prepares us for the sleep of the night and the dawn of the new day to come. On the eves of the Divine Liturgy, it begins our movement into the most perfect communion with God in the sacramental mysteries.
